About Lauren

Hi, I’m Lauren!

The creator of Devoted Heart Yoga and The Live Your Yoga Transformation. I am a yoga & meditation instructor, transformational coach, circle leader & ritualist, and sound healer. I specialize in yoga lifestyle and applied yoga philosophy, prenatal yoga, and tuning fork therapy. I also train new and experienced yoga teachers in vinyasa yoga, restorative yoga, prenatal yoga, and yoga for backcare & scoliosis.

I took my first 200 hour yoga teacher training with Syama & Dhyana Masla at Stanton Street Yoga and The Bhakti Center in the lower east side of Manhattan. I went on to study alignment yoga and yoga for backcare with Alison West and prenatal yoga with Juliana Mitchell. I have also studied Pranayama and alignment with Judith Lasater. I am trained in the Acutonics methodology for Tuning Fork Therapy.

My mission is to help people uplift their lives through the healing arts. 

These are all forms of Yoga–and yoga is a practice that helps us to live with intention and alignment with our Soul.

I teach yoga poses and movement to support people with body healing and awareness.

I guide meditation and pranayama (breath) to support people in understanding the nature of the mind and to be able to discern their thoughts from the Truth.

I work with tuning forks and sound healing instruments to access and clear deep layers of physical and energetic pathways.

I create circles and rituals to facilitate reflection, celebration, community support, and connection to cycles of time on the earth

I support individuals and groups with coaching to provide a safe and nourishing container for growth and self reflection

I study and apply yoga philosophy to connect modern practices and science with ancient wisdom
